The High Rollers Riding Association is holding their 6th Poker Run in March. There are a ton of prizes to be handed out and a special drawing for a custom chopper. Click on the Events link on the left for more information and a link to their website that has the registration form and pictures from last year's event.

Also, information for Hoover Dam has been added under Destinations.

There will most likely not be a ride this weekend. It looks like Las Vegas will be getting it's fair share of rain this coming weekend.

Both NFL Playoff games are on Sunday so Saturday (Jan. 19th) is looking good for a ride. Weather.com shows Sunny with a high of 58 degrees.

So what is everyone's thoughts? Who wants to go for a ride.. and where?

The two suggestions I have so far are:
Hoover Dam : Leave town via Lake Mead Blvd. to around Lake Mean on North Shore Road then to Boulder Beach Highway and then onto the Dam.
Mountain Springs : via Charleston Blvd. and follow it out by Red Rock and Bonnie Springs.

Weather is looking very nice for this weekend! Forecast shows a sunny day with a high of 61° for Sunday ... So cancel those plans for Disney Land and lets go riding!

We will be meeting at the Roadrunner on Flamingo & I-215 for breakfast at 9am. We will then head on out afterwards.

The current plan is to leave the Roadrunner and go down I-215 towards I-15 taking the Las Vegas Blvd. Exit. We will take Las Vegas Blvd. to Goodsprings Road / Sandy Valley Road then on into Goodsprings for beverages of your liking and "Smoke 'em if you got em!".

This coming weekend is looking real good for a ride. Temps are supposed to be in the mid to high 50's without a cloud in the sky.

I'm thinking about organizing a trip to Goodsprings which is about 35 miles from Las Vegas.

This weekend is looking pretty bad for a ride. Looks like rain both Saturday and Sunday but the weekend of Jan. 12-13 is looking very good right now... if we can just find a time to ride between all the playoff NFL games. Stay tuned, we will figure something out.
